Powder Coating

Powder coating is a dry paint applied electrostatically to SQ profiles and then cured under heat, allowing it to flow and form a durable "skin." SQ is authorized to use the QUALICOAT quality sign for powder coatings on aluminum in architectural applications. A wide range of colors and gloss levels is available, including timber imitations and all RAL colors. The EZY technology offers a variety of finishes, such as Golden Oak, Acero, Betulla, Mogano, Verde Scuro, Wenge, Noce Fiammato, Noce Chiaro, Ciliegio Rosso, Acacia Scuro, Ciliegio Antico, Noce Reale, and Ciliegio Reale.

Maintenance

SQ aluminum profiles require minimal maintenance, only routine cleaning for aesthetic purposes. This significantly reduces costs and environmental impact over the product's lifetime, making it a highly sustainable solution.

Recycling

Aluminum scrap can be recycled repeatedly without losing any of its value or properties. In cases where aluminum is combined with other materials like steel or plastics, these are typically mechanically separated before the aluminum is melted down and reused. DEFINITION OF CURTAIN WALLING

Curtain walling typically consists of vertical and horizontal structural members, connected together and anchored to the supporting structure of the building. These members are infilled to form a lightweight, continuous skin that encloses space, providing all the functions of an external wall either on its own or in conjunction with the building construction. However, it does not take on any of the load-bearing responsibilities of the building structure. The curtain walling must be sufficiently rigid to resist the declared wind loads for serviceability, both positive and negative.
